Americans are expected to continue getting payments relief cash next week to help deal with high inflation.

Two Relief Payments Are Coming Next Week

Inflation rates gradually lessen in recent months, it has been quite high for consumers to handle in the past year. last year’s rate was hiked to 9.1% and to mitigate the effects of inflation, several states have provided tax rebates. These big budget surpluses support providing aid for high prices.

Here Are Two States That Are Expected To Get Relief Next Week

Alaska

Since fall, residents in Alaska have been receiving payment relief, and this month they will resume sending the money. To be eligible residents must fill out an application for a  Permanent Fund Dividend (PFD), which provides Alaskans with a portion of profits from oil revenues.

Last year the payment was worth $3,284. While applications are no longer being accepted for last year, the Department of Revenue has announced a payment schedule for certain groups who are still lingering on their 2022 PFD.

This 2023 the next batch of $3,284 checks is set to go out on the following dates over the next two months.

  • “Eligible-Not Paid” status on February 8: PFD will be delivered by February 16.
  • “Eligible-Not Paid” status on March 8: PFD will be delivered by March 16.

For the PFD 2023, Alaskans have until March 31 to submit an application.

Idaho

In Idaho, residents are set to receive tax rebates worth $300 to $600 depending on their filing status. It could also be 10 percent of a taxpayer’s 2020 returns taxes, whichever is more significant. The 2020 and 2021 tax returns must have been filed by December 31, 2022, in order to be eligible for the 2023 rebate.

Moreover, you must be an Idaho resident full-year for 2020 to 2021. The Idaho Tax Commission said around 75,000 rebates per week were to be given. This March 31, it expects to allocate 800,000 payments. lastly, Idahoans can view the status of their rebates online.
