A teenager was killed and three others were injured when a stabbing suspect drove his car into them near their high school in Thousand Oaks, Southern California, on Tuesday afternoon.

Suspect Allegedly Stabbed a Walmart Employee
Ventura County Sheriff’s Deputy Ashley Barrios stated that the authorities were investigating whether the suspect had deliberately crashed his vehicle into the teens. Earlier in the day, the driver had allegedly stabbed a Walmart employee in Simi Valley and fled the scene in a white Toyota Camry. Simi Valley police said the Walmart employee sustained one stab wound.
The suspect then drove to Camarillo, where he was involved in a domestic dispute with his family, according to Barrios. However, nobody was injured in the incident. Later, around 3:15 p.m., the suspect crashed his car into the group of teens in Thousand Oaks, 12 miles away from Camarillo, according to a report in FOX News.
The police were not pursuing the suspect at the time. The suspect was also injured in the rollover crash, but the extent of his injuries was not immediately known.

Condition of the Teenagers
Barrios confirmed that a 16-year-old boy was killed in the accident, while a 16-year-old girl was in critical condition. The third teenager, a 16-year-old boy, sustained minor injuries, and a 15-year-old girl was in moderate condition. The identities of the teenagers have not been released.
The Conejo Valley Unified School District issued a statement expressing their condolences and sympathies towards the affected students, their families, friends, and the entire Warrior community. Thousand Oaks is located about 35 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.
