These 12 States are Sending Year-end Stimulus Payments

In 2022, almost 20 states are approved for the Stimulus Payment, however, 12 states are still waiting for their Stimulus money. If you happen to reside in one of the 12 states then your payments are on your way to your mail.

Check below for more payment information from these 12 state governments.

  • Californians

California’s Middle-Class will get Tax Refund payments of up to $1,050 in October. However, the direct deposit will be made through November 14. Payments that are made using a debit card will still be accepted till January 14, 2023.

  • Colorado

Colorado gives physical checks of up to $750 or $1,500 for joint fillers, most of which were received by Sept. 30 to avoid some fraud. For individuals who request a tax extension, checks will be sent up to January 31, 2023.

  • Delaware

Eligible households who have not yet received a Delaware Relief Rebate payment can apply for the $300 stimulus during a 30-day application period that closes on Nov. 30.

  • Hawaii

Eligible Hawaiians will get payouts of up to $300 on or before Dec. 31. depending on when they submitted their taxes.

  • Idaho

Qualifying Idaho residents who meet the criteria will get $300 payments and $600 for couples throughout the rest of the year and into early 2023.

  • Illinois

Illinois is issuing two tax credits, one for $50 and the other for $300. The state said that the first checks were sent on Sept. 12 and will take many months to be given.

  • Indiana

Indiana approved two rebates first is for $125 and  $200 for single filers. They have different eligibility requirements, and those who qualified for both have already gotten their payments. Furthermore, those who merely qualified for the $200 refund will not get paid and would have to claim it as a tax credit upon submitting their taxes for the following year.

  • Maine

Maine is issuing $850 stimulus checks to eligible taxpayers However since payments are being sent on a rolling basis throughout the year, Maine income tax returns are received, and the state still keeps ongoing payouts to qualified residents that waited to submit their taxes through December.

  • Massachusetts 

Qualified Massachusetts residents began to receive a refund of 14.0312% of their 2021 personal income tax liability. The first payments went out on Nov. 1 and Eligible residents who filed the required Massachusetts tax return by October 17 should receive their rebates by mid-December.

  • Rhode Island

Starting in October, eligible residents of Rhode Island who filed their taxes by Aug. 31 will get a $750 Child Tax Credit. In December, will start to issue the refunds for those who filed by the Oct. 17 extension deadline.

  • South Carolina

In South Carolina, any resident who paid taxes will receive a rebate, with the amount increasing based on their tax liability, up to $700. If you filed your 2021 tax return by Oct.17, you’ll get your payment by the end of the year. However, if you file later than Oct. 17 extended deadline but before Feb. 15, 2023, then you will have your rebate in March 2023.

  • Virginia

Eligible Virginians who filed their taxes by Nov. 1 will receive one-time tax rebates of up to $250 and $500 for couples who file jointly.
