Starting March 2023, the regular monthly SNAP benefit amount will be based on the household’s size, earnings, and expenses. It is important to report any modifications in your circumstances since you last renewed your SNAP benefits.

For the past three years, beneficiaries have been obtaining the max SNAP benefits for their household size. These extra benefits were intended to support pay for food costs during the COVID emergency and were launched in 2020 by Congress. The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2 contains new federal rules that have gone into effect that have brought the max benefits to an end.

beneficiaries will obtain both regular and max SNAP benefits in February 2023. Starting in March 2023, recipients can receive regular SNAP benefits. Regular SNAP benefits are loaded to EBT cards from the 1st through the 10th of the month.
