Several states will still be giving out their form of stimulus checks programs that put money back into Americans’ bank accounts.
Stimulus Program This 2023
The final federal stimulus checks already ended in 2021. However recent economic sufferings facing Americans most notably, skyrocketing inflation there’s been no such relief. Fortunately, several states stepped in and filled the hole with their stimulus check payments in 2022. But you may not be aware that a handful of those state stimulus payments will still be sent in 2023 back into Americans’ bank accounts.
The List Of States Offers Their Stimulus Programs
These states listed below could still be sending out checks, too. See if you are eligible and how much you could obtain.
- California
Gov. Gavin Newsom 2022 announced that California offered payments known as the Middle-Class Tax Refund, in which residents must meet the following requirements
To qualify residents must file a 2020 California tax return by October 15, 2021, and must have adjusted gross income below $250,000 for single people and married couples filing separate tax returns (or less than $500,000 combined). Moreover, the qualifiers must not be listed as a dependent on someone else’s 2020 tax year. Lastly, all applicants should be California residents for at least six months during 2020.

Colorado
In May 2022, Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed a law named Colorado Cash Back that provides tax rebates to residents.
Eligible residents can collect worth $750 for Individual tax filers and $1,500 for joint filers. Those with extended tax return deadlines in October 2022 should obtain theirs by January 31, 2023.
- Delaware
Gov. John Carney signed the Delaware Relief Rebate Program into law in May, allowing a one-time $300 payment dedicated to every state’s adult residents.
To qualify, residents in Delaware must have filed their 2021 state tax return by the due date and don’t need to do anything more to receive it. Checks are being given throughout the summer, according to Delaware’s Department of Finance website.
- Massachusetts
Residents of Massachusetts who paid 2021 Massachusetts personal income taxes and process the application for their 2021 return by October 17, 2022, are entitled to a refund equal to a bit more than 14% of their 2021 income tax liability. The majority of individuals have already received the refunds, but those who filed late may get theirs by as late as September 15, 2023.
- New Jersey
New Jersey locals can still take benefit of property tax refunds through the Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters (ANCHOR) program. Homeowners are qualified for $1,000 or $1,500, while tenants can obtain up to $450. The due date for 2023 filing is January 31, 2023. Applications for the ANCHOR program must be filed with the state’s Division of Taxation.
- Virginia
Virginia sent eligible taxpayers one-time bonus tax refunds to receive $250 for those who filed individually and $500 for joint filers. While most checks were mailed out in September, for those who filed at the later end of the application, some checks may still be making their way out in 2023.
