A Mississippi man pleaded guilty to sexual battery on his 15-year-old foster child.
Mississippi Man Sentenced for Sexual Battery
The man faces a maximum sentence of 30 years. The Madison County District Attorney Bubba Bramlett announced that 41-year-old Michael Anthony Lee pleaded guilty to the charge. Lee was living with his wife and the two of them were foster parents registered and licensed with the Mississippi Department of Human Services.
Bramlett stated that the agency placed a 15-year-old girl in Lee’s care where he began engaging in sexual contact with the girl shortly thereafter. For six months, the girl experienced non-stop sexual abuse. It was only discovered when the girl was transferred to a new foster parent when Lee sent sexually explicit text messages to the victim.

According to a published post by Fox News, Lee faces 30 years in prison as he pleaded guilty to sexual battery. He will not be eligible for parole or early release and he is required to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. He will be sentenced on January 31.
