39-Year-Old California Woman Kills Stepfather After Seeing Own Nudes In His Computer
A woman murdered her former stepfather after she found more than 100 nude photos of herself on his computer and has been declared guilty. Jade Janks, a woman in California, murdered her stepfather after finding more than hundreds of nude photos of herself on his computer. She was then convicted on Wednesday of first-degree murder.
According to a published post by True Crime Daily, the photos include pictures of her when she was a teen and snapshots of her in the showers.
The Coast News Reported that during a trial that lasted for weeks, the prosecutors argued that 39-year-old Janks, a Solana Beach interior designer, murdered Merriman, 64, with a plastic bag on New Year’s Eve 2020 by drugging and strangling him to death, she did so after she accidentally discovered racy photos of herself on his computer while she was cleaning his bedroom.

Merriman’s body was found under a pile of trash in his driveway on Jan. 1, 2021. According to the station, Janks said that it was the most violating, awful, gut-wrenching feeling ever. She also added that she felt so sick that she felt like she couldn’t… even touch her skin.
According to the prosecutors, Janks admitted to murdering Merriman to at least two people. She confessed through a text message saying “I just dosed the hell out of him”. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for April 3.
