Eligible Americans Can Claim $130 and $1,300 Background Check Settlement
Americans who have been through improper background checks can claim and benefit from $1,300 as part of a class action lawsuit against Balfour Beatty Infrastructure.
The company will be paying $350,000 to settle payments because of improper background checks of employees between August 13, 2019, to February 2022. Balfour provided lacking disclosure on their job applicant’s background checks. It disregarded the federal Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and the California Investigative Consumer Reporting Agencies Act (ICRAA).
These company finances, build and maintain infrastructure in the United States and the United Kingdom. Balfour Beatty never admitted any wrongdoings about it but they are willing to pay $350,000 for background check settlement to those Americans. They said that employees who applied within California can receive up to $1,300 and those employees who are outside California can receive up to $130.

The deadline for the objection is April 25, 2023, and the final approval for the Balfour Beatty settlement hearing is on June 16, 2023. To those Americans who are eligible to receive the benefits, members must submit a valid claim form by April 25, 2023. They say that if you think you were involved, you must file a claim payments by April 25.
