Louisville Shooting: Former Bank Employee Shoots 5 People Dead And Livestream The Incident
An ex-employee of Old National Bank, Connor Sturgeon a 25-year-old armed and shot dead five people and wounded 8 other people at his workplace morning. According to the police, the suspect live-streamed the attack in downtown Louisville, Kentucky on Monday. After a shoutout from the authorities, the suspect was reportedly killed by the police officer.
The mass shooting happened 30mins after the Old National Bank on East Main Street had just opened. Rebecca Buchheit-Sims, manager of the bank said in an interview that the incident happen at 8:30 in the morning and they are having an employee meeting with some persons and some are virtual only, minutes after while she was looking at her computer she heard a gunshot and found one of her co-workers gunned down. The gun used in the shooting is an AR-15-style rifle, it’s the most popular rifle in the US.
There are 4 victims who were found dead in a shooting incident, including Joshua Barrick 40-year-old; Tommy Elliott, 63-year-old; Juliana Farmer, 45-year-old; James Tutt, 64-year-old and in the evening the police added that Deana Eckert 57-year-old also died. Authorities also identified nine others were wounded in the attacks including a 26-year-old police officer who had just recently graduated from the police academy who was shot in the head. Eckert one of the injured victims who was immediately rushed to the hospital passed away after hours of retrieval.

Conor Sturgeon works in the back for more than a year now and was devastated knowing that he was going to be terminated, he left a note to his parents and friends that he was going to shoot fire in the bank, the shooting where live-streamed in his Instagram. His classmates and friends said that Sturgeon is a really good man from a good family, they even don’t see any problems in him and saw some signals that he is going to do it They were heartbroken about what happened.
