El Monte Residents May Apply For The Monthly Checks In Many Ways

Residents of El Monte may apply by mail, online, or in person for the $500 monthly checks.

Money from the guaranteed basic income program is only available to female heads of households who are single and do not have a spouse or partner.

Candidates must be residents of El Monte and have children in their homes between the ages of 0 and 17.

Requirements To Be Meet For The Monthly Checks

The 2023 U.S. Census Bureau also stipulates that applicants must have a verified income at or below the federal poverty level. policies of the Department of Commerce.

The American Rescue Plan Act makes the money possible.

Palm Springs has teamed up with Queer Works and DAP Health to offer 30 eligible people $800 monthly payments over the course of 18 months.

The payments come with no conditions, but recipients must have consented to participate in a study that collects data and conducts monthly surveys to assess the effectiveness of the program.

Funds will be released on May 15 after the application deadline of March 25.
