After 12 years of marriage, Reese and Jim has formally filed for divorce.
Reese And Jim Took The Tough Decision To Divorce
Reese and Jim took the “tough decision to divorce” on March 21, five days before their 12th wedding anniversary, and they made the announcement in a joint statement.
Reese and Jim stated that their 10-year-old son, Tennessee, remains their “greatest priority” and that they have “enjoyed so many amazing years together.” They added that they are going ahead with “deep love, generosity, and mutual respect for everything we have achieved together.”

Reese And Tim’s Divorce Paperwork Was Filed In Nashville
According to Davidson County court documents acquired by TMZ on Saturday, the 47-year-old “Legally Blonde” star gave this explanation for the split: irreconcilable disagreements.
According to paperwork filed in Nashville, Tennessee, Reese and Jim’s prenuptial agreement was written in March 2011 and is legitimate and will provide “appropriate and sufficient provisions” for their assets and debts.
The ex-couple, who are parents to Tennesse, a 10-year-old boy, will need to sign up for a parenting course since Davidson County requires it.
After that, they will have 60 days to give the court a certificate of completion.
According to reports, Witherspoon will submit both a permanent parenting arrangement and their prenup to a judge for approval.
Jim Toth and Reese Witherspoon have filed for divorce in writing.
On March 24, Witherspoon took to Instagram to announce in a joint statement that she and Toth, 52, were splitting up — just days before their 12th wedding anniversary.
