In a recently published article in The Gazette, the Food Tax Rebate Program application will begin from March 1 until June 30. The priority of this new program will be the low-and middle-income families living in Boulder, Colorado.
Moreover, those who are eligible and will qualify for the Food Tax Rebate Program will receive a minimum of $99 for individual applicants and $302 for applicants with a family.

Eligibility for the Food Tax Rebate
According to a report published in Washington Examiner, the following are the eligibility requirements for the Food Tax Rebate Program:
- Applicant must have lived in Boulder for the entire 2022 calendar year and either has been 62 years old throughout 2022
- Be a person with a disability
- Have a family with children under 18 in the household throughout 2022
Additionally, the individual and family income will also be the basis to qualify and these are the following:
- Income limit of $43,900 for individuals
- $50,200 for a family of two
- $56,450 for a family of three
Furthermore, the income limit will increase as the household size increases. Also, those who do not have permanent shelter in Boulder, Colorado are eligible as well for the Food Tax Rebate. They only need to show some documents to prove that they received services from a city-recognized homelessness services agency.
