A man from Joliet, Illinois was arrested after he allegedly set a home on fire because he was upset with his girlfriend Friday night.
Man From Illinois Sets House on Fire after Fighting with Girlfriend
45-year-old Kevin Williams got into a fight with his 47-year-old girlfriend. He then got gasoline and used it to set a spare bedroom on fire. During the incident, police reported that there were four more people inside the house. They were composed of a 26-year-old woman and three children who were immediately evacuated. According to a published post by Fox News, there were no recorded injuries as the suspect got arrested in their garage.
Investigations are underway according to the Joliet Police Department as they hold the suspect in custody. The initial charge the suspect may face is Arson which under Illinois law, 720 ILCS 5/20-1, you can be charged guilty of Arson if you damage any property, having a value of $150 or more, by fire or explosive.
