Tomorrow marks the deadline to file your tax return and it’s also the last day of an extension. According to the financial company, some Americans still wait until the last minute to file for their federal taxes but they need to hurry or not they will have potential fines and penalties for late filing.

The IRS or Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has revealed that taxpayers can get their refunds faster if they will file them online, that is because once the agency receives online filing they will process immediately direct deposits within 7 days and those who file electronically can see it in their bank accounts within 21 days.

Processing paper checks will take about 2 weeks to process and that means it could take up to several weeks for your money to be received if you have incorrect and incomplete pieces of information you will also wait more so make sure that when you file all the information are correct.

Before filing, make sure that all the forms are correct for the filing to process immediately, make sure your pieces of information are correct after you file you can check the status of your refund in two days, you can check it at the IRS website or through the IRS app called IRS2Go. The app is available for both iOS and Android in English and Spanish.
