Alabama Mom, Jordan Ellan Harmon, has pleaded not guilty to charges related to the death of her 15-month-old son, Emery Michael-Knox Wilson, who died from blunt force trauma-related injuries two years ago. Result of the Autopsy

Lawrence County deputies found Harmon performing CPR on Emery on the floor of her minivan at an intersection on April 11, 2021. Emery was transported to Decatur-Morgan Hospital before being taken to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, where he died two days later from his injuries.

An autopsy report showed that Emery had blunt force trauma to the head and had “abrasions, contusions, and lacerations to the scalp, a depressed skull fracture, and a fractured left forearm.” The boy reportedly had cannabinoids in his system, according to the report published in TRUE CRIME DAILY.

Suspects of the Crime

Harmon’s boyfriend, Travius Coleman, was brought in for questioning on January 25, 2022, and was later arrested for two counts of child abuse, one count of chemical endangerment to a child, and murder. Harmon was arrested the next day on the same charges. The couple was indicted in March by a grand jury on a charge of felony murder.

According to court documents, Coleman and Harmon allegedly shook, hit, and struck Emery, inflicting blunt-force injuries on more than one occasion. They are also accused of “torturing, willfully abusing, cruelly beating, or otherwise willfully maltreating” Emery. Harmon allegedly did not seek medical care for her son despite his serious injuries, which required medical attention and treatment on at least three occasions. Harmon is in custody at the Lawrence County Jail, while Coleman remains in custody at the Morgan County Jail.
