Oscar-winning actress and producer Reese Witherspoon recently attended the Los Angeles premiere of The Last Thing He Told Me, a show she executive produced, marking her first red-carpet appearance since announcing her divorce from Jim Toth.

She was all smiles as she posed alongside the cast, including Jennifer Garner, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Aisha Tyler, Augusto Aguilera, and John Harlan Kim. The Last Thing He Told Me, based on Laura Dave‘s novel, features Garner as a woman who teams up with her stepdaughter to locate her missing husband. Witherspoon, who initially selected the book for her book club in 2021, raved about Garner’s performance on the show.
During an interview, Witherspoon expressed her excitement about seeing the book come to life and Garner’s performance. She also mentioned her willingness to work on a project with Garner, a dear friend, saying that “working with your friends and doing a project that you’re so excited about is the best.”

The couple shares a son, Tennessee Toth, while Witherspoon has two children, Ava Phillippe, and Deacon Phillippe, with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe. A source told E! News that the split was amicable, with “no drama, no event, or reason.”
The source added that the couple had made the decision with love and respect for each other and their child, and they would be co-parenting together. Witherspoon and Toth emphasized that their biggest priority is their family as they navigate this next chapter in their lives.
