Christine Brown and her soon-to-be husband, David Woolley, deserve congratulations! On Thursday, April 13, the Sister Wives star, 50, revealed David had proposed to her by posting a few sweet photos of the couple to her Instagram. Christine wrapped her arms around David in one photo and flashed a stunning diamond engagement ring. Christine showed her 1 million followers a close-up of the sparkler in another photo! TLC, the sister network of Sister Wives, captioned the post, “The most exciting news! Christine Brown of #SisterWives is engaged to David Woolley. Congratulations to the newlyweds.”
The reality star couldn’t help but rejoice at the happy news. “David treats me like a queen and tells me every day that I’m beautiful,” Christine told People. “I’ve never been in love like this before, and the world seems brighter with him in it,” she said, adding, “I’m so excited for the wonderful adventure we’re going to embark on for the rest of our lives.”
Christine revealed her romance with David almost two months ago, two years after her divorce from Kody Brown. “I finally found the love of my life, David,” she wrote alongside a cute selfie at the time. “It felt like my soul took its first breath when he held me close for the first time.” He’s wonderful and kind, fantastic with my kids, and an adorable grandfather. I never imagined I’d find a love like this.”
She had teased a special someone in her life a week before, writing on Instagram, “I am dating someone exclusively!” She continued, “He’s wonderful and romantic and so kind, and he’s everything I’ve been looking for.” He’s fantastic with [my daughter]. He’s a true dream come true.”
Christine’s journey to find new love was long, but it appears to have been well worth it. Christine ended her 25-year polyamorous marriage with Kody and his three other wives, Meri, Janelle, and Robyn, in November 2021. “We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family,” she said at the time on Instagram. Christine has four other daughters and a son with Kody, in addition to Truely.
