The bodies of Chuck Morris from the band Lotus, and his son, Charley, were recovered 24 days after the pair disappeared during a kayaking trip in Arkansas, confirmed by authorities on Sunday.

Lotus Drummer Chuck Morris And Son Remains Discovered At Arkansas
The Benton County Sheriff’s Office announced that they recovered two dead bodies on Sunday. The remains belong to Chuck Morris, 46 years old the percussionist for the Colorado jam band Lotus, and his son Charlie Morris 20 years old, both were never returned after going out on the water last month.
Major Kenneth Paul is the one who leads the lookouts for the two missing bodies and efforts utilizing many resources across the country which involved diving 180ft. The long Investigations finished 24 days of looking for the bodies using helicopters, sonar, drones, divers, and dogs, and finally, they were able to retrieve both bodies over the weekend.
Both kayaks were located on in the search and Chuck’s hat and coat were also discovered earlier. It’s believed the pair drowned after one fell into the cold waters of the lake and the other tried to rescue.
Chuck’s wife and Charlie’s mom, Jennifer Thompson shared her heartbreaking statements on ABC News, that she ‘misses her boys’ and ‘What saved me from the beginning of this is that they died together; they were together,’ she added.

The Family Traves From Kansas City
The family had decided to travel from Kansas City to Beaver Lake during the Spring Break holidays after Lotus had completed their 25-city tour.
Charlie is a sophomore student at Ohio Wesleyan University and wanted to be a lawyer someday. Despite there having been strong currents and three-foot waves still, Chuck and Charlie decided to go kayaking on the lake which leads to ending their life together.
