The state of California offered the residents multiple ways to claim rebates. $10million was set aside for the Electric Bicycle Incentive Project, which is meant to encourage California Citizens to buy and use fuel-efficient E-bikes.

the proposed rebate would provide riders up to $750 to buy a regular e-bike and a cargo or adaptive e-bike for $1,500. applicants would have to make no more than 400% of the federal poverty level to be eligible.

This works out to an annual salary of a single filer for $51,000, and $106,000 for a family of four. Applicants whose income ranges below 225% the FPL would qualify for more assistance. You are required to buy the bike from a California shop either online or in-person.
