Despite of the political odds, President Joe Biden, pushes Assault Weapon Ban. The President wants to sign into a law ban on high-powered guns that have the capacity to kill many people as soon as possible after the Nashville shooting incident.

Biden Assault Weapon Ban: GOP Leaders Remains Silent
After the school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee which kill three students and 3 school staff members. President Joe Biden, calls again the attention of Congress to ban high-powered guns that can easily kill many people.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department released a statement that the shooter was heavily armed with three guns, and two off them used assault weapons.
According to data from the national Gun Violence Archive, the Nashville incident is the latest in 130 mass shooting this year. “They say, why do I keep on bringing assault weapon ban in the country and it’s not even happening?’ Biden said, referring to his numerous appeal for such ban but still there’s no response. He added “I want you to know who isn’t doing and who isn’t helping.”

No.2 in Senate GOP Leader from South Dakota, Sen. John Thune that it’s not good to have such discussions in the wake of the attack. He added “There’s already an ongoing investigation for that and we will just wait for further information surely the facts will come out”.
“Our nation, our people needs prayer and protection. We owe them action”. Biden said during an interview on Tuesday. It was heard by the Senate. Sen. Barry Black opened a legislative session by persuading lawmakers to take actions after the the bloody shooting incident that killed innocent life. “I am really angry when I see people trying to politicize it for their own personal agenda.” said by House Majority Leader Steve Scalise who was shot during congressional baseball practice in 2017. He said that he always prays for the victims and for their families.
He said Congress should always prioritize and should implement tighter security procedures and mental health resources.
