Metro Nashville police said that they arrested the suspect identified as Renfro after being involved in an unprovoked attack Wednesday at a laundromat in Nashville.
A Suspect Is Believed Responsible In Three Other Similar Attacks On March 16, 18 And 19
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department cautioned the residents to be on the lookout for the suspect, later recognized as 32-year-old Khadree Renfro, and put out a video showing the brutal, blindsided assault. In the video, Renfro can be seen carrying a cane or pipe while wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes. He then hits an unidentified 45-year-old victim several times in the head and neck area.
According to New Channel5 that the Metro Nashville police said Renfro was captured about eight hours after the video was published. The suspected attacker, Khadree Renfro, 32, was arrested on Pennock Avenue by detectives from the Violent Crimes Division & the East Precinct’s Community Field Intelligence Team. Charges are forthcoming, according to the Metro Nashville Police said on social media. Metro Nashville Police said the suspect is also believed to be responsible for three similar attacks on March 16, 18, and 19.
Police Are Asking For Help
The investigation is still ongoing and the Metro Nashville Police are asking help for anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Metropolitan Police Department at 615-742-7463.
