The Middle-Class Tax Refund (MCTR) is a one-time payment to assist Californians.

The next batch will be distributed in the following days to every Californian. They either get the MCTR payment via a debit card or will receive the payout to direct deposit.
One-time tax relief is offered to taxpayers who qualify and will immediately get the reimbursement. In October, it was the start that the state began issuing direct payments ranging from $200 to $1,050, the state released a timetable for individuals who received a Golden State Stimulus check and another for those who did not was made public by state.
MCTR Will Release Alphabetically
In releasing Middle-Class tax returns it will depend on the last name, for people with last names starting from A to K who did not obtain GSS must send their money by Saturday, December 17, after which the following batch will be distributed in a few days.
Additionally, the Payments will be mailed to anyone with last names starting with L through Z who didn’t receive a GSS from December 19 through December 31. In the dates, December 17 to January 14, are the dates scheduled for direct deposits who have updated their banking details since filing their 2020 tax return will receive their money. For individuals who follow their payments, the direct deposit normally happens three to five business days after the issuance date.
However, according to FTB if you submitted an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) but did not receive it by October 15, 2021, you must have filed your complete 2020 tax return before February 15, 2022.
