The suspect allegedly pointed the gun at a drive-through worker and threatened to push her “s—- back.”
According to a probable cause affidavit, a Florida woman was detained last week for allegedly brandishing a firearm at two McDonald’s drive-thru employees because something she wanted wasn’t available on the menu.
Quavi Young, 26, was charged with driving while ineligible for a license, open carry of a firearm, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.
According to an arrest affidavit, the incident started last Thursday at a McDonald’s in Cocoa, Florida, when Young pulled up to the drive-thru for the second time that evening and “requested a meal which was not on the menu.”

According to the affidavit, after the employee informed Young that the requested menu item wasn’t available and inquired as to why she was upset, Young allegedly brandished a black handgun and threatened to “push her s—- back.”

The other employee told police that Young went to the second drive-through window, grabbed the gun, and placed it in her lap.
Responding officers made contact with Young after the McDonald’s staff members dialed 911, and she was allegedly carrying a black M&P Shield handgun with a drum-style magazine that could hold 50 rounds in her passenger seat.
According to jail records, Young was incarcerated early on Friday morning after posting a combined $7,500 bond. This past Saturday, she was freed. There was no attorney listed in court documents.
For a seemingly unimportant reason, McDonald’s employees in Florida have now received a gun threat twice this year. Amari Bente Hendricks, 24, is accused of brandishing a loaded handgun at drive-through employees in Altamonte Springs last month because she was denied a free cookie.
