Court records show a Florida judge has issued an arrest warrant for the hip-hop hit-maker Rapper Kodak Black was on bail for a drug charge and missed a mandatory drug test before he tested positive.
Arrest Warrant Issued To Rapper Kodak Black After Allegedly Tested Positive For Fentanyl
A Florida judge has published an arrest warrant for rapper Kodak Black for failing a drug test while on bail for a drug charge, court records show. The warrant was issued Thursday after Black, whose legal name is Bill Kapri, did not appear for a scheduled drug test on February 3. According to Nbcnews that the sheriff’s affidavit filed in support alleges that Black submitted to the test late, on February 8, and that the results tested positive for fentanyl, according to records.
The testing was needed as part of his pretrial dismissal on bail in a case that alleges he trafficked oxycodone. His release was withdrawn as part of the arrest warrant.

According to Florida Highway Patrol officers that they located 31 oxycodone pills in his car during a traffic stop over in July possible illegal tint on the vehicle’s windows. Black, whose residence at Miramar, Florida, pleaded not guilty.
Broward County Judge Barbara Duffy issued the warrant and noted that the rapper had violated the conditions of his pretrial release for an oxycodone trafficking charge from July. Black had pleaded not guilty to the trafficking charges. His attorney was not instantly available to comment on Sunday.
