Woman Accused of Stabbing Man over Unwanted Advances
On Dec. 10, Amiee Boughton-Martinez is facing stands charged with one count of attempted murder in the first degree after police arrested her. According to an affidavit, on Saturday Boughton-Martinez confess her actions in stabbing a 63-year-old man. She told police she did it in self-defense after the man tried and force her to kiss him.
The man suffered several stab wounds to the scrotum, groin, and chest, according to the Las Cruces Sun-News. Moreover, the man told police that he and Boughton-Martinez were in a romantic relationship for three weeks. However, Boughton-Martinez denied the police that she had no relationship with the man nor interest in one.
