CEU San Pablo University has kicked off the new academic year with a festive welcome meeting aimed at the nearly 2,300 new students who are joining the classrooms, 9% more than the previous year . The rector of the University, Rosa Visiedo, has encouraged the new students to “live the university”, to take advantage of all the possibilities it offers, with a wide range of services and excellent academic training that will provide them with personal and intellectual growth. .
Thus, they have been invited to participate in all the activities proposed from the different areas, clubs or Campus Life, which allow them to cultivate hobbies or arouse interests. “We offer you a university that wants to train good professionals, but also people with the ability to think, with solid values and the determination to act , to build a fairer society and a better world for all”, she underlined.
The Welcome Day, held at the Montepríncipe Campus, has allowed new students to meet the dean’s team and their future teachers in different specific sessions depending on the studies to be carried out. Enlivened with live music, 20 information tents have been placed outside the Campus about the different services and activities offered by the University: Campus Life, Clubs, University Orientation Service (SOU), Grow Path for Students (GPS), Volunteering, Pastoral Care, Sports, Alumni, Professional Careers, Digital Ambassadors, Own Degree in Values and Leadership in the Digital Age, Family Institute and Young ACdP.
