Bryan Kohberger, “I Know How He Feels”

The BTK serial killer says he can associate with the loneliness Bryan Kohberger is staring at behind bars while confirming he never communicated with the criminology student who studied under his true crime co-author. The Ph.D. in Criminology student Kohberger, 28, studied under the same psychologist who authored the book on strangler Dennis Rader, Dr. Katherine Ramsland. Kohberger is accused of murdering four University of Idaho students while sleeping on November 13 and has been in custody since his arrest on December 30.

There was some assumption by BTK’s daughter that the pair could have been in contact, something the serial killer has now denied. But the killer who gave himself the ‘Bind, Torture, Kill’ name said that he sympathizes with Kohberger, who has been in solitary confinement awaiting his trial. Fox News stated that BTK’s daughter, Kerri Rawson, said that her father said ‘Since I spent from February 2005 to April 2005 in a cell by myself, I understand how he feels very lonely.’

According to Rader that he met his defense attorney and found ways to pass the time and wanted to go through ‘everything’ prosecutors had on him despite confessing on the day of his arrest. Rawson revealed that her dad was ‘going back and forth’ between whether he should plead guilty or not. ‘One difference is dad confessed and appeared relieved while Kohberger has to feel very alone’ Rawson added.

Kohberger Was Held At Latah County Jail In Moscow, Idaho

Kohberger is currently being detained without bail at the Latah County Jail in Moscow, Idaho the same town where he allegedly snuck into a six-bedroom home in the middle of the night and attacked four students, some of whom may have been sleeping at the time of the attack. Police have identified the victims as Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Goncalves ages 21 while Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin are 20.

All except Chapin were roommates, and all four participated in campus Greek Life. Chapin, who lived in the Sigma Chi frat home nearby, was staying for the night and was in a relationship with Kernodle. Two other young ladies inside were not harmed, including one who told police she saw a man with a mask exiting through a sliding door.

Moreover, Kohberger is due back in court on June 26 for the start of his preliminary hearing, which could take four to five days. In a rare public statement speaking through his former Pennsylvania attorney, Jason LaBar, Kohberger has said he’s “looking ahead to being exonerated.” Kootenai County Public Defender Anne Taylor, Kohberger’s Idaho attorney, intends to challenge the probable cause for his arrest during the June proceedings.
