Star Comedian Kathy Griffin is now ready to open up to the public that she is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PSTD).
Kathy Griffin Opens To Public That She Is Suffering From ‘Extreme Case’ Of PSTD
PTSD or what we call post-traumatic stress disorder (PSTD) is a disorder in which a person develops a trauma from a shocking, scary, or dangerous experience.
The comedian Kathy Griffin is now open to sharing something that she said she never talk it in public but now she thinks that she needs the support and the love of her fans. Griffin said that she is experiencing something that she hasn’t experienced in her entire life, she involuntarily and vividly relives a traumatic event and has a hard time managing her emotions and relationships with other people.
She said that this traumatic experience that keeps giving her trauma is when she is diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021, she was shocked that she develop lung cancer despite never having smoked. Later on, her left lung was removed and she was declared cancer-free. Griffin also said that when she was having her MRI she experienced an eight-hour attack of PSTD because it keeps reminding her of the experience she have when she was still having lung cancer.

Kathy Griffin Is Suffering From ‘Extreme Case’ Of PSTD
In order for her to make at ease, she tried to go outside walk and come to the ocean to smell the fresh air. She said that it feels good to be walking and keeps telling herself that this won’t last forever. She is also planning to get professional help by trying eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. He added that as of now her puppies are her big remedy and her healing.
