$400 Direct Payment Will Be Given To Massachusetts Residents On May 29, 2023

Individuals who are members of the Chelsea Eats program in Chelsea, Massachusetts will expect to get their second direct payment on May 29, 2023 and that’s 3 weeks from now.

These payments will be worth $200 to $400 and will be given to 738 selected households on May 29. According to the Chelsea Eats Program, A household of one will receive only $200, a household of two will receive $300, and a household of three or more will receive $400. To those families who were eligible if the program and have been residents of Chelsea Massachusetts with an income of 30% less than the area median.

Families who make less than $29,450 and families who make less than $33,650 will be eligible to be in the program. This payment which will be released in May marks the last and final one for the program. The first payment was already distributed to the eligible families last March 15 and the second payment was distributed last April 15.

The program will last for three months and will issue some payments to the eligible recipients. The Washington Examiner spokesperson said that after the final direct payment claims the program will also be discontinued.
