A royal expert believes that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be “relieved” that Meghan Markle won’t be attending King Charles III’s coronation on May 6.
Megan Markle’s Absence May Make William And Kate At Ease
The Duchess of Sussex’s absence may make the Prince, 40, and Princess of Wales, 41, more at ease, according to author Eloise Parker, because there will be “less emphasis on them, who’s looking where, who’s lip reading, [and] what’s going on between them,” she said on Wednesday on Entertainment Tonight.
The royal expert said, “There’s such a fever of interest in these relationships, but the reality is we’re never going to see a ‘Real Housewives’ moment between these women.
“Everything is going to be kept firmly under wraps and I think for Kate, the fact that Meghan isn’t attending, helps her keep it that way.”

What Was the Reason Behind Megan Markle’s Plan to Skip the Event?
Regarding Markle missing the important event, William and Kate have not made any public statements. Reps did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment right away.
The Duchess of Sussex’s “genuine and authentic” decision, according to sources, was influenced in part by the fact that things with the royal family are still “awkward.”
The decision was made, according to a source close to the Sussexes, “after everything that has been said and all the things that have gone down,” the source continued, “The words that Harry and Meghan have said about the importance of their family are lining up with their actions.”
The conflict between Princes William and Harry dates back many years, but more family problems were revealed in Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare,” which was published in January.
Harry revealed a physical altercation he once had with his brother in the shocking book, and a source claimed the future king found the revelation repugnant.
Middleton’s “outraged and hurt” response to Harry’s revelation of their chilly friendship in the memoir was similar to Middleton’s.
Harry, however, asserted that he and his wife endured “institutional gaslighting” during their time as senior members of the royal family, so the tense feelings are reciprocal.
Markle won’t be present at King Charles III’s important day for a number of reasons, including the conflict between the Sussexes and Wales.
The “Suits” alum reportedly wanted to highlight her son Archie’s birthday, which falls on the day of the coronation.
An insider remarked, “There was no way that Meghan was going to miss her son’s birthday.”
Markle, 41, Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, won’t be there, but earlier on Wednesday, Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry would be at Westminster Abbey in London to witness his father’s former coronation as King of England.
