$250M Civil Lawsuit: Trump Returning Back To NYC For His Deposition

New York Attorney General Letitia James has accused former president Donald Trump of overrating real estate assets. He is scheduled on Thursday to attend his second deposition about the $250M civil lawsuit.

Trump asked the attorney if she can delay the deposition but the attorney said the decision in October is firm and no delays. In former president Donald Trump’s deposition, he was asked many questions but he did not give any answers to this rather he is just affirming he understood the ground rules and the procedures of his case.

When General’s Senior Attorney Counsel Kevin Wallace asked Trump what did he prepare, he just answered he prepare a little. When he asked for his finances he invoked repeatedly the Fifth Amendment.

$250M Civil Lawsuit: Donald Trump Deposition

He is accused by the lawsuit that he has a very high value of his asset. His state asset and golf result is evaluated for about $739 million but the original rate should have been valued at $80 million. He is also sued about the value of his Trump Tower Apartment, the Trump Turnberry and also his golf courses in Scotland and and Wall Street. Former President Donald Trump also counterclaims James for filing a civil lawsuit against him. Last January, Trump withdrew the lawsuit but the U.S District Donald Middlebrooks warned him that the lawsuit is a frivolous one.
