Google Pay Users Can Claim

In several social media posts, Google Pay users claimed that they have been getting free money in their rewards section. a Google Pay user posted on  Reddit that they got nearly $100 in six different cashback rewards.

Most Google Pay users said that they obtained the payback because they had been “dogfooding the Google Pay remittance experience”. Dogfooding is an industry term for when members try a new product or service before it’s created and available to the public.

Another person posted gained $13.25 for the same reason. They just opened Google Pay and noticed that they have earned $46  ‘for dogfooding the Google Pay Remittance experience. It was the same story for several other Google Pay users, although they all unsure how exactly why they were getting the payments.

Dogfooding

The term dogfooding refers to the use of a recently developed product or service by a company’s staff to test it before it is made available to customers. As most of the people who have been earning the payments are not Google employees, something is not adding up.

Moreover, you can check to see if you have gotten any cashback rewards. Though it’s essential to make sure that if it is a glitch, you may not want to cash out the rewards in case Google takes back the rewards from you.

Here’s How To Check Your Surprise Payment From Google Pay User

Most of the users showed that they were notified about the payments through push notifications from the Google Pay or Google Wallet apps. You can check manually by going to your Google Pay app and then swiping to the “Deals” tab then you can see if you have any rewards near the top.
