Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Is More Secured On Trump’s Indictment
On Tuesday in New York City Court Former President Donald Trump is expected to be arraigned without handcuffs after Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg secured an indictment in connection with alleged hush payments to adult actress Stormy Daniels.
However, Bragg’s pursuit of the former president, noted as the first in history to be charged with a crime, comes as he faces criticism for far-left political policies as a prosecutor leading critics to question his priorities and commitment to providing public safety in NYC. Moreover, Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg reaches when the Trump Organization tax fraud trial at the New York Supreme Court on December 6, 2022, and said “If you want to stand for public safety, you have to actually provide public safety.”
NYC Victims Of Crime Speaks Out
A former candidate for New York’s state Senate Maria Danzilo told Fox News Digital that she was attacked last month in the city’s famed Central Park by a stranger without provocation while walking with her dog. The incident occurred in Central Park when Danzilo was walking her dog, Willow, and suddenly, a man approached. She was distracted by the phone and raised her hand defensively, as the man “slugged” her in the arm and strolled off.
The longtime lawyer said she did not consider she was qualified to speak about whether the first indictment in history of a former president was a good idea, but reveals New York has “serious situations” of its own when it comes to public safety and the priorities of Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and other leaders.
In another incident on Sunday, a 28-year-old Manhattan gas station employee informed ABC News that a random man arrived at his store, spat in his face, and slashed him across the cheek before escaping on a scooter. He had to get stitches and was pictured with a long scar across the right side of his face.
Last Saturday, a garage attendant was shot twice by a burglary suspect after he was noticed scoping out cars in the early morning. The attendant attempted to wrestle the gun away from the suspect and shot back, prompting initial accusations that contained attempted murder.
Additionally, on March 21, according to police that a 32-year-old woman was placing her trash on the curb when a man suddenly came up and stabbed her in the shoulder. However, the suspect was later identified and caught on a subway surveillance camera.
The NYPD’s Manhattan crime statistics reveal most major crimes, including homicide and theft, have plateaued or started to decline compared to last year, however, felony assaults persisted to climb as of Friday. Furthermore, former President Trump is expected to be arraigned on Tuesday at a Manhattan court following enhanced security preparations aided by the U.S. Secret Service.
