Alabama Police Kills Girlfriend and Unborn Child
David McCoy, 28, a former Alabama Police officer charged with three counts of capital murder for killing his pregnant girlfriend Courtney Spraggins, 26 inside a car. David, a former Alabama Police officer in the Huntsville Police Department, dated Courtney and got pregnant for 7months.
According to WHNT-TY, the former cop was charged with capital murder, the first count is the death of his girlfriend Spraggins and the second one was the unborn child inside Spraggins Tummy. The last count was killing a child under 14 years old, in his case the unborn child was just 7 months old. According to McCoy’s hearing testimony, Spraggins came to Weston Ranch Apartments because she plans to move into a new house in Huntsville.
McCoy was living with another woman at that time, he was engaged and living together with that girl without Spraggins knowing about it. Investigator said that Spraggins quit her job and arrived in Huntsville to move in with McCoy, but McCoy said that he can’t live with her and needed more time so Spraggins drove from Huntsville to Maryland to live with her parents. She texted MacCoy on December 2021 about what she was supposed to do and received a text coming from McCoy saying: “A bullet to the head sounds good to me”.

Pregnant Girlfriend Murder By Alabama Police Boyfriend
The two began their relationship when they met online on a dating site. While the two are in a relationship Spraggins suffered a miscarriage. Kimberley Walter mother of Spraggins said that she is heartbroken when she heard the news, her daughter was an amazing girl and was trained to be a certified nursing assistant. She said that her daughter is excited to move with McCoy and never speaks badly about him.
