Residents of Denver, Colorado, can receive an e-bike rebate of up to $1,400 off an e-bike purchase through an ongoing voucher program.
E-Bike Rebate Program
The e-bike rebate program offers vouchers to residents to help them buy new e-bikes and e-cargo bikes. The rebate for a standard e-bike is $300, while e-cargo bike buyers can receive $500, according to a published article in The U.S. Sun.
Income-qualified recipients can receive $1,200 for an e-bike and $1,400 for an e-cargo bike, and disabled recipients may also be eligible for rebates of up to $1,400 for adaptive e-bikes and e-cargo bikes. These adaptive e-bikes are specially designed to meet the needs of the rider.

How To Apply for E-Bike Rebate Program?
To apply for the standard e-bike rebate, all current Denver residents with proof of address can submit their applications on the city’s online portal.
Income-qualified recipients must demonstrate that their household income is either below 60% of Colorado’s median income, 200% below the federal poverty level, or below 80% of the area’s median income. Adaptive rebate recipients must have a verified disability that prevents them from riding a standard e-bike or e-cargo bike.
The application process opened up again on May 30, and interested parties are encouraged to act quickly. During the last opening on March 28, all available vouchers were quickly claimed.
Once an application is approved, the recipient can take the rebate to a qualified e-bike dealer in Denver, where it will be applied during the purchase. The program aims to incentivize the use of e-bikes and encourage residents to reduce their carbon footprint while promoting healthier transportation options.
