Maine Teen Who Allegedly Built Homemade Explosives Plans

A Maine teenager has signed a plea agreement admitting he had weapons, build homemade explosives plans and Isis inspired plans to attack Chicago area Shia mosques last March.  Xavier Pelkey a 19-year-old Maine Teen would rendezvous with underage accomplices from Illinois and Canada to stage an armed invasion of mosques that would include separating and killing adult men worshipers. The new guilty plea records gathered by the I-Team reveal that Pelkey had already written a public statement to be released when the Chicago attack started.

Pelkey admitted that he had amassed and plotted to use homemade explosives Bombs and ISIS paraphernalia. Pelkey targeted Shia Muslims in Chicago whom he and his unnamed terror juvenile accomplices believed were non-believers in their more radical Sunni Islam world. They plan to have a mass shooting at the mosque and possibly other houses of worship.

The Maine Teen Was Already Arrested Before

Pelkey was 18 when he was arrested last year by FBI agents who found three homemade explosives in his residence. Moreover, the FBI said that the devices were assembled of fireworks bundled together with staples, pins, and thumbtacks to create shrapnel.

The plea hearing is a week from Friday and a sentencing date needs to be determined. The U.S. Attorney in Maine still has no comment and Pelkey will face up to 15 years in prison for supporting terrorism. His attorney has not responded to a request for comment.
