“Pandemic Is Over”: White House Object To Joe Biden’s Appeal To End Covid19 Public Health Emergency
“Pandemic is over”, President Joe Biden’s announcement on Monday that his administration would end the Covid19 Public Health Emergency along with a separate COVID national emergency.
The White House strongly opposed the House Bill to end the public health emergency, as well as a separate resolution slated for floor consideration to end the national emergency. According to the administration, an abrupt end to emergency health orders of Covid 19, medical providers, patient access and hospitals taking care of Covid patients would create a wide-ranging chaos and uncertainty throughout the health care system.
The Senate passed the resolution under the Congressional Review Act, which allows the congress to revoke rules by federal agencies through a majority vote of 65-25.

Charles E. Schumer (D-N-Y), regarding the Senate Majority, told his colleagues that Biden would not turn down the measure coming from the senior Democratic Senate source who spoke on the condition of anonymity to detail private conversations. The administration said that coronavirus has killed more than a million people in the United States and it upended global economies.
Though Biden already embrace the “pandemic is over” the White House has signaled the fight against the virus was moving into a new and less-disruptive chapter
