ACM Awards 2023 Host Will Be Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks
Garth Brooks will join the second consecutive year as host of the 58th annual Academy of Country Music Awards together with Dolly Parton as co-host. The show is set to stream live this May 11, 2023, on Amazon Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. A full rebroadcast of the ceremony and performances will stream the next day for free on Amazon Prime Video.
The ACM Awards show will once again be hosted by Parton for the second time around in a successive year, although Brooks will host the event for the first time. Parton said in a statement that she is thrilled to rejoin ACM Awards as this year’s host and this time she’s Garth. “While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Garth throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to collaborate together on a project.”

Dolly Parton And Garth Brooks Are Both Veterans Of The ACM Awards
The last year 2000 Parton hosted the ACM Awards with Jimmie Allen and Gabby Barrett its first year on Prime Video and this will mark Brooks’ first time hosting the show. Brooks and Parton have several experiences as ACM Awards winners. Dolly Parton made 13 ACM Awards, including performer of the year in 1977. While Brooks has earned 22 ACM Awards, including a record-setting six performer of the year trophies with a successive four-year run from 1990 to 1993, to being anointed ACM artist of the decade for the ‘90s.
Though Brooks unleashed his debut album in 1989 and proceeded on to become the best-selling solo artist in U.S. history, with nine RIAA Diamond Awards to his honor and 19 Billboard Country Airplay chart-toppers, the ACM Awards will keep his first time hosting any major awards show. In addition to that partnership Brooks, who signed an exclusive streaming agreement with Amazon Music in 2016, asserts several factors were at play in his decision to co-host this year’s ACM Awards in addition to that partnership.
Dick Clark Productions organized the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards and Whiteside served as the organization’s executive producer. Raj Kapoor and Fonda Anita also contributed as executive producers. Tickets are only limited for this year’s ACM Awards and are still available at SeatGeek.
