Sheryl Lee Ralph has come forward to say that a well-known TV judge sexually abused her at work while network executives watched and urged her to remain silent.
In a recent episode of the podcast “Way Up with Angela Yee,” the actress—whose credits include the TV shows “Abbott Elementary” and “Moesha,” as well as the Broadway musical “Dreamgirls”—discussed the event.
“I’m in an extremely public area. I was dressed. I was wearing a suit. I was taking care of business for the TV show I was hosting at the time. I was on the same network as him,” she said.
Ralph narrated how the man entered, grabbed him by the back of the neck, spun him around, and shoved his vile tongue into his throat. Everyone at the network saw it, too.
The alleged attacker’s identity or any other damaging information was withheld by Ralph, 66, who also declined to say whose network or series she was working on at the time.
She made sure to note, however, that the culprit was not her pal Judge Greg Mathis.
