This month of March the Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries will receive the second of two payments.
March’s Double Direct Payments For Supplemental Security Income Beneficiaries
On March 1 the payments for Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries were first sent to eligible recipients and the second payment will be delivered on March 31. The additional payment will be given in April because April 1 will be on a Saturday this year. Washington Examiner news stated that Individual filers receive payments worth $914 each, for a total of $1,828 in March.
The Social Security Administration normally allocates one monthly Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries check on the first day of the month but when the first day of a month falls on a holiday or weekend, the administration releases the checks on the last business day of the previous month to ensure recipients have the check to pay their bills by the first, according to the agency.
Other groups will catch the double payment as well and qualified couples will obtain two payments worth $1,371 in March. Essential individuals, who reside with a person obtaining Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries and providing them with crucial care, will bring two checks for $458 each. Recipients accept two checks in the same month multiple times a year, but they still obtain a whole of 12 payments annually.
Other Payments To Receive This 2023
This coming other three months will also see two payments this 2023 for Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries which will be in June, September, and December. This is due to the fact that July and October, the first of the month come on a weekend. Every year, December receives two checks due on January 1 is a national holiday.
