A 17-year-old boy suspect has been arrested after his girlfriend and two other people were shot to death during a “domestic-related” Bolingbrook home invasion late Sunday in southwest suburban Bolingbrook.

Bolingbrook Home Invasion

Authorities have located and arrested a 17-year-old teenage boy involved in a Sunday night shooting in Bolingbrook, Illinois that cause three people dead, including his girlfriend, during a home invasion. Bolingbrook police said one additional adult victim was injured in the possible Bolingbrook home invasion, which took place at approximately 8:15 p.m. along the 100 block of Lee Lane.

The victims were identified as Cartez L. Daniels, 40, and Samiya A. Shelton-Tillman, 17, according to police. A second minor has not yet been positively determined. A 34-year-old woman was also taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds, police said. Her condition was stabilized, Fox Chicago reported.  A 3-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy were also inside the house at the time of the shooting but were not hurt. Bolingbrook is located at less than 30 miles southwest of Chicago and the Village of Bolingbrook said Monday that the 17-year-old suspect of the Bolingbrook home invasion was in a “dating relationship” with the 17-year-old girl victim. Morevre, the shooting stays under investigation.
