Arizona man was killed over the weekend at Intel campus and a worker was arrested after killing a coworker using a baseball bat.
Arizona Man Beat To Death
The Arizona man who was killed over by the weekend at a microprocessor manufacturing facility in suburban Phoenix was aged 49-year-old man who worked at the plant, authorities said Monday. Chandler police officer identified the victim as Dan Foster, an employee of the Intel plant.
Moreover, According to court documents that he was found dead in the cafeteria of Intel’s Ocotillo Campus with blunt-force trauma caused by a baseball bat. A hatchet and knife were also discovered at the scene of the crime.
The Suspect Of The Crime Is A Coworker From Intel Plant
Fellow worker Jaron Williams, aged 27 years old, was also hurt during the attack and was hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening injuries. Chandler police said another worker, 50-year-old Derrick Lemond Simmons, was arrested and booked into Maricopa County jail Saturday on suspicion of first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
Furthermore, police have not yet released any motive related to the crime. It still remained unknown if Simmons had a lawyer who could speak on his behalf during his hearing.
