Up to $10,000 One-Time Payment Homecare Financial Assistance; Eligibility

Eligible residents in Georgia can now receive homecare financial assistance up to $10,000 one-time payment if they qualify in the set criteria.

$10,000 Homecare Assistance

Some eligible residents and homebuyers in Georgia can now avail and claim $10,000 homecare assistance. This is a forgivable grant as part of The Vine City Renaissance Initiative to help people who are looking for a house in Georgia or in any other way to improve their house.

In a published article in Mundo Now, the $10,000 homecare assistance can also be used as a down payment or for the costs of the expenses in renovating the house. Likewise, it can also be used and spent on a home renovation loan if they qualify.

Eligibility of the Homecare Assistance

There are sets of criteria that applicants for the $10,000 homecare assistance should meet. According to a published article in Invest Atlanta, these are the following:

• Borrowers must plan to stay in the home for at least five years to qualify so that the grant will be forgiven.
• Participants must be able to qualify for a 30-year fixed-rate or conventional home loan and attend a renovation education course.
• Only homes within Vine City, which is in Atlanta, will qualify for the incentive.
• Detached single-family homes, two- to four-unit townhomes, condominiums, and newly constructed properties will be eligible.

Income Limits to Qualify for the Homecare Assistance

According to the same source of report, there is no price limit to qualify but only an income limit. These are the following:

• Single-person household $94,500
• Two-person household $108,080
• Three-person household $121,520
• Four-person household $134,800
• Five-person household, $145,880

Furthermore, it is important to be reminded that there is an amount of $1,000 program fee for the $10,000 homecare assistance.
