Some states in the United States of America are getting another stimulus check during February. Worth a $600 payment to distribute that aimed to help American residents deal with the high inflation. This has created many issues and obstacles for those Americans who are merely trying to make ends meet to pay for their rent, groceries, and other essential goods that they need to survive. Prices have been skyrocketing over the past year but inflation doesn’t look like it will go down any time soon.
A total of four cities will get this stimulus payment, each of them is from a different state and will have a different set of qualification rules.
Here Are The Cities That Give Stimulus Payment
- Idaho
The citizens in Idaho will receive a one-time lump sum of $600 that will continue to be sent out to people from that state in February. This was initially approved in September 2022, when the state of Idaho issued a package that would diminish the record budget surplus and cut taxes inside the state. Payments will continue to roll out until March.
- Massachusetts
In the town of Chelsea kicked off the second phase of the universal basic income program in December. Payments to the town’s residents are $400 for approximately 700 residents. This is a continuation of the first stage where about 2,000 families got monthly payments from November 2020 to August 2021. The deadline to apply for this payment online is Friday, January 6 at midnight.
- California
$400 stimulus payments, in California, to offer that will go to all Coachella residents and the assistance will go to 140 families for the next two years.
- Alexandria Virginia
Virginia is rolling out $400 payments for two years that will start in February. This city is giving money as part of the Recurring Income for Success and Equity program. There will be 170 recipients chosen for a program that will allow them to spend the money in any way they want. Payments are starting in January and some folks might be eligible for a tax refund of up to $700.
