It goes without question that people seeking employment still look at salaries first before the environment they’re going to work in. But the idea of having a flexible work environment and employee mental health resources has become more prominent. As the previous year brought about extremes for workers, companies will continue to double down on improving the employee experience to attract and retain talent.
With this, Glassdoor released its annual 100 Best Places to Work list for 2023. According to CNBC, this gives out ranks of companies with at least 1,000 employees and 75 reviews on the job site. They were rated on a 5-point scale for the following categories: career opportunities, compensation, culture, management, work-life balance, and other factors.
The report notes companies with higher rankings offer ample opportunities for career advancement. Also, they are the ones who give out robust health care benefits and remote or hybrid work opportunities. Most of them have clear and transparent communication between senior leadership and employees.
