Investigators Found A Dead Woman in a Wheelbarrow
An Illinois man was charged with murder after investigators found his dead cousin a wheelbarrow according to a published post by Fox News.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputies said that the suspect had dry blood on his arms. After their investigation, a knife was found inside with fresh blood on it. Officials responded to a residence on West Shenandoah Trail in Wadsworth, Illinois to check on the welfare of 47-year-old Monica Green.
The Sheriff’s Office arrested Quentin V. Harvell for allegedly killing his cousin whose body was found in a wheelbarrow in their place next to a tree line behind a home.
In a press release, Green’s relative reported that they were supposed to fetch her for an appointment but Green did not respond to any calls whatosever. While waiting, Green’s cousin, 27-Year-Old Quentin V. Harvell, said that Green was not home.
The relative was dumbfounded upon knowing that Green wasn’t there due to the fact that she did not have any means of transportation.
An Illinois Man Was Charged With Murder For Killing His Cousin
Deputies noticed there was dry blood was on Harvell’s arms and was detained. After detaining Harvell, the deputies investigated the scene and saw blood inside his home. They also saw a shovel near the backdoor and raised suspicions.
Deputies looked around and found a wheelbarrow near a tree line at the rear of Harvell’s property. There lied Green’s corpse.
Green appeared to have several sharp-force injuries, cuts, and stab wounds on her body. The detectives secured a search warrant and saw several pieces of evidence which included a knife used to kill Green appearing to have fresh blood on it.
Quentin V. Harvell was taken to the Lake County Sheriff’s Office and was eventually charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
