$1,500 is up for grabs for eligible homeowners in New Jersey. There are three weeks left for people who want to apply for this program which may give them up to $1,500 within the first half of 2023.

This program is called Affordable New Jersey Communities for Homeowners and Renters and is already accepting applications from New Jersey homeowners and renters until Jan. 31. Homeowners are subject to receive $1,500 if their annual income is $150,000 or less and $1,000 if their annual income is over $150,000, according to the New Jersey Department of Taxation.
The needed requirements are both the ANCHOR ID and PIN which homeowners will use to apply online or by phone by calling 877-658-2972. The pay will be different for renters as they can expect to receive a payment of $450 if they make $150,000 or less annually.

There will be no phone option for renters to apply for the program so the Division of Taxation recommends that renters apply online. The ID and PIN will not also be given to them. Regardless of if they are homeowners or renters, applicants for this program can also print an application from the internet and mail it in with any other documents required.
According to a published post by Washington Examiner, payments will be issued to residents who apply for this program no later than May of this year. Payments will also not be given to recipients in the order that they were received.
