$200 One-Time Rebates Available! Here Are The Exact Dates

By June 30, 2023, all forms must be submitted. Gross Household Income is the total income received by all members of a household, regardless of where it comes from. This includes whether or not the income was taxable.

Among them are pensions, annuities, social security, unemployment benefits, veteran’s disability benefits, and grants or scholarships for higher education. In addition, it might include money from self-employment, capital gains, alimony, support payments, workers’ compensation, and loss-of-time insurance.

The Oklahoma Tax Commission must receive all claims for relief on or before June 30, 2023. Your return is due the following business day if the due date falls on a weekend or legal holiday when the OTC offices are closed.

As stated by The US Sun in their post, to be considered filed on time, your return must have a postmark from the date of the due date. Just keep in mind that you cannot file an amended return to claim this credit after the due date.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?

A gross household income of $12,000 or less is required for eligibility. You also need to have lived in Oklahoma for at least a year. You must be 65 years of age or older, be married, or show proof of total disability if the head of the household is younger.

Any claim must be filed for an amount that exceeds 1 percent of the household’s gross income and represents the property taxes the claimant paid in the previous calendar year. However, no property tax relief claim may be for more than $200.

Other Property Tax Relief

The ANCHOR property tax rebate program in New Jersey has recently extended its application deadline to January 31, 2023. Homeowners with incomes of $150,000 or less will receive $1,500, while those with incomes of $150,000 to $250,000 will receive $1,000.

Renters with incomes of up to $150,000 will receive $450. Just keep in mind that eligibility is based on your 2019 income, not your 2020 or 2021 income. Although it is recommended, applicants can also submit paper applications by mail or phone.
