A California man, a 41-year-old doctor allegedly drove a Tesla car off a 250-foot cliff in an attempt to kill his wife and children and currently faces multiple charges authorities said.

Man Accused Of Intentionally Driving Off A Cliff With His Whole Family
California Highway Patrol, news release, on Jan. 2, the CHP together with multiple fire agencies, the United States Coast Guard, and the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a Tesla vehicle that had plunged off Devil’s Slide. During the scene, authorities found two adults and two children trapped inside the wrecked car.
Firefighters rappelled down the cliff and save the children, while the adults were rescued by a helicopter. The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said that the whole family miraculously live, the two adults only suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and the two children ages 4 and 7 years old, were unharmed.The Tesla was driving south on State Route 1 when it drove off the cliff and fell near the water’s edge before flipping and landing on its wheels down.
Father Faces Multiple Charges
Upon further investigation, authorities reportedly determined that the father, Dharmesh Arvind Patel, 41-year-old and works as a radiologist at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Mission Hills, outside of Los Angeles
Patel faces multiple charges on three counts of attempted murder and two counts of child abuse, KCBS-TV reports. He will be detained in the San Mateo County Jail after he is released from the hospital.
A doctor supposedly saves life not harms a person especially if it’s your family. The investigation is still ongoing and CHP said they will not release any further information at this time.Read Also:
