There re certain requirements to qualify in the payment and these are the following:
- Age 65 and older
- Widows and widowers age 50 and older
- People with disabilities age 18 and older
I t is also important to note that recipients should make less than $35,000 a year if you are a homeowner or $15,000 if renting.
Moreover, the amount that you will earn varies by income for homeowners. Here are some examples:
- Up to $8,000- $650
- $8,000 to $15,000- $500
- $15,000 to $18,000- $300
- $18,000 to $35,000- $250
On the other hand, the following are the amounts to received one you are renting:
- Up to $8,000: $650
- $8,000 to $15,000: $500
The state officials also announced that everyone who claims a rebate will also receive an additional check worth 70 percent of the initial refund amount.
